Your 2010-2011 VCR Executive Board Members are:
President: Stephen Siao
The Principal leader of the organization; shall serve as official VCR spokesperson, state party liaison, and as media contact. The President will be responsible for running organization meetings and events, in addition to ensuring that all club responsibilities are faithfully executed.
Vice President of Communications: Chelsea Gaw
Responsible for campus publicity in regards to club meetings and events, including procurement of advertising in school publications. Additionally responsible for maintaining and updating VCR website, in addition to any other duties deemed necessary by the Board.
Vice President of Events: Austin Caroe
Responsible for securing all logistical and procurement needs for VCR meetings and events, in addition to any other needs deemed necessary by the Board.
Vice President of Finance: Reid Harris
Responsible for the duties of the treasurer in managing the organization’s finances, including bimonthly financial reports to the Board. Also responsible for facilitating fundraising initiatives, in addition to any other duties the Board deems necessary.
Vice President of Membership: Rachael Hesling
Responsible for keeping records of all Board and General Body Meetings, maintaining the organization listserv, and ensuring members remain in good standing per the standards established by the Board, in addition to any other duties deemed necessary by the Board.
Vice President of Political Affairs: Mark Zager
Responsible for raising issues awareness or advocacy, dealing with campaign liaisons, and/or volunteering for Republican campaigns, in addition to any other duties deemed necessary by the Board.
Attorney General: Nathan Yates
Appointed by the President as a voting Board member with the majority concurrence of the Board. Responsible for maintaining the Constitution, parliamentary procedure, and for running club elections. In addition, the Attorney General is responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant university and legal regulations, in addition to any other duties deemed necessary by the Board.
Executive Assistant: Adam Gross
Appointed by the President as a non-voting Board member with the majority concurrence of the Board. This officer will assist the President in carrying out his or her respective duties. The Executive Assistant may hold another voting position on the Board concurrently with their tenure as Executive Assistant. If nominated by the President from the sitting Board, the nominee will not be allowed to vote on his or her confirmation.
